Marianne Snowflakes and a Cat

Evening!

I've bought myself a set of Marianne Snowflake dies - they are lovely but are fiddly beyond belief to get the cut shape out of the die. I can only assume I'm doing something wrong as I'm currently having to poke them out (carefully) with my craft knife.  So if you have any tips for getting them out let me know.

Here is my latest card. I've been having a play with my embossing folders this time.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Tuesday Throwdown - Dimension and Texture
Freshly Brewed - Emboss It
Paper Sundaes - Sundae Bar (Buttons and Green)
Card Mad Fairy - Buttons
The Stamping Boutique - Monthly Competition

Thanks for looking!

Hi Julie, this is so sweet, love the cute image and gorgeous colours. I use a ball of blu tac or a foam pad (take off some of the sticky on clothes first) to get out the fiddly dies. If you press it onto the card or paper thats still in the die and gently lift it should come out. :o)

Hi Julie! I just love this color! It's my very favourite lately! Your card is beautiful! I use the Marianne dies quite a bit and I need to use my piercing tool to poke out all of the pieces first before I remove it. The piercing tool should fit perfectly into a certain slot to poke out the edge before you carefully pull out your cut die piece. I'm so glad that you have joined us at Freshly Brewed Challenges for our "Emboss It" challenge!
Hugs, Sheryl
