Morning!
I can't believe I haven't posted for two weeks - how rubbish am I? I just seem to have been so busy.
Anyway its time for a new challenge over at Craft Your Days Away.
The challenge for this fortnight is Shades of Grey + 1 Other, so why not pop over and join in - there are some amazing creations from my teamies.
We have a fabulous sponsor for this challenge - it's The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and their fabulous prize is a ribbon and embellishment bundle.
Here's my card for this challenge:
I've realised it's nearly Christmas so I've made a Christmas Card (ok - I know it's not but I do need to get a wiggle on with my Christmas cards). I've used a cute Pollycraft image and the snowflakes are chipboard shapes covered in blue glass embossing powder. The snowflake paper is simply some snowflakes stamped in black ink onto the grey card.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges
Willow Sketchie - Christmas in July
Paper Play Challenges - Christmas in July
Card Crafters Circle - For Children
Cardmadfairy - Christmas in July
Ladybug Crafts Ink - Christmas in July
Anyway thanks for looking - I need to go and tidy my house now as my sister is coming to stay with us this weekend and my house looks like a bomb has hit it.
Hope you all have a good weekend!
Julie xx
Edited to add challenge entries - as I finally got my house tidy!

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Southern Girls - Oh Baby Baby

Sunflowers
Hi,
I'm just stealing a bit of time this afternoon while the children finish their nap - hopefully I'll be able to get this posted before they wake.
I've also been catching up on all the blogs I follow - I seem to have had no time at all recently so have been making up for it this afternoon.
This card is to go into the stash of cards we are putting together for our Woman's Institute members birthdays.
This little cutie is a from Pollycraft, the DP is Dovecraft (Tea Party I think!) and the big sunflower is from some blog candy I won ages ago! Although just looking at it - I've no idea why I've coloured her shoes blue - I suspect she's been taking fashion tips from my three year old - some of her clothing combinations are a little strange!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Lollypop Crafts - Anything Goes
Sassy Cheryls - May Flowers (hope this counts as I have NO idea when sunflowers come out!)
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - In the Garden
Paper Sundaes - Ribbons and Pearls
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Mothers Day / Feminine + Ribbon
Little Miss Muffet - May Flowers
Southern Girls - Get Your Girly On
Thanks for looking - hope you've all got something lovely planned for the bank holiday!

Birthday Girl
Hi,
I've had a busy weekend, yesterday we had our first WI cake stall, we did great and could have easily sold twice as much!
Today we've been to a birthday party for my friend's two year old, which was in a children's gym. My two had a great time and have had a nice early night tonight!!!
Here's the card I made for Dot - the birthday girl.
I got a new pad of paper on my outing to The Range this week and I've used it here for Dot's card. It's by Grace Taylor, and is called Playtime (and it was only £9.99 for 100 sheets!). It's perfect for children's cards!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion - Use Die Cuts and Punches
Our Creative Corner - Butterflies
Paper Sundaes - Let's Get Cute
My Grafico - Fun and Games
Ladybug Crafts Challenge - Shapes
Di's Digital Designs - Let's meet your animal friends
Sassy Cheryl's - Butterflies
Thanks for looking! Hope you have a great week!

Allsorts - It's Your Choice
Our Creative Corner - Over the Edge (the flower and the shoes peeking over the the edge of the circle die)
My Grafico - Flowers

Birthday Card for a Guy!
Evening!!
I've had a very productive couple of days and got loads of stuff crossed off my to-do list. However my list of cards I need to make is starting to grow as I've got a lot of birthdays coming up over the next couple of weeks.
I also have two new followers - so HELLO to Kath and Vicky!!
I wanted to share with you this evening a card I've made for my (Husbands) Uncle Brian. Although we've just been debating the possibility that Brain is actually 70 this year which will means tomorrow night you will find me hurriedly making a different card which acknowledges this great age, rather than this "young at heart" card I've made for him. My money is on him only being 68, however my husband will be making an emergency call to his mum tomorrow to check!!
The cute little tickets were a freebie I got from Free Digital Stamps ages and ages ago and are by mudmaven.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Lollipop Crafts - Anything Goes
The Pixie Cottage - Sketch
Paper Sundaes - Birthdays
Aud's Sentiments - Use the word "Happy"
Stamping For the Weekend - Colour Combo
Thanks for looking!

Good Luck Card
Hi,
I've had no internet for almost two weeks as my router(?) was broken, but I'm back! I did try to post via blogger mobile - but it wouldn't upload my post.
I made this card about two weeks ago for friend at work who was leaving us to go and live and work in London.
I used some glossy accents on the four leaf clover and had a go doing a swirly pattern with my Bazzill jewel templates. The lovely papers were free in a magazine, and the image is Pollycraft.
I'd like to enter this card in to the following challenges:
Do You Stack Up - Layers
If The Shoe Fits - Anything Goes
Saturday Challenge - 3 in a row (swirls, gems and ribbon)
Allsorts - Anything Goes
Bee Crafty - Miss You
Thanks for looking - enjoy the rest of your weekend.

More than ice-cream?
Afternoon!
Hope you're all having a nice day. My darling children have been not so darling this morning so while they nap I've had a nice peaceful play with my crafty bits!
I've made my husbands valentines card today, which is extremely organised for me. Let's hope he doesn't have have a sneak peek at my blog! I can now put my efforts into winning our valentines present competition - which is to find each other the most rubbish gift to do with the city we live in for under a fiver. Should be fun!
Anyway here's the card. I jumped for joy when I saw this digi set (from Pollycraft) as it's so perfect for me; given my most favourite thing ever is ice-cream (hence the tub of half-baked on my blog where most people have a picture of their face!)
I wanted to do something a little bit different to the traditional valentines card, as my anniversary card last week was red, so when I found this piece of spotty paper left over from a card last year I though it was prefect!
I've also gone for a clean and simple look - more down to the fact that I had nothing to go on it and I've banned myself from buying anything from a craft store for February as I spent ridiculous amounts in January! Luckily I found this digi on the last day of January, and promptly clicked buy along with a few others!! Let's see how far into February I get before I convince myself I NEED something!!
Anyway I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Pollycraft - Favourite Things - Ice-cream
The Pixie Cottage - Clean and Simple + Sketch
Do You Stack Up - Anything Goes
Catch the Bug - Colour Inspiration
Paper Sundaes - Valentines
Ladybug Challenge - He Love's Me, He Loves me Not
The Stamping Boutique - Valentines
Little Miss Muffet - Valentines and Love
Freshly Brewed - Love
Thanks for looking!

I'm finished!!
Hello!!
I've just finished my last card, I made two last night and two this morning so I thought I'd have a well earned sit down with a hot chocolate before I brave going out of the house to finish off my Christmas shopping!
This is for my very lovely husband - it's really grey here today so I've struggled to get a decent photo. I've covered the bell in glossy accents - it looks great! The DP is Dovecraft Let it Snow - it's so sparkly but you can't really tell. As these papers are so nice they have been reserved for special cards only, I've only cut into 3 sheets out of 48!! Plenty left for next year!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Cupcake Craft - Sketch
EAC - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Christmas Card
The Pixie Cottage - Someone Special
Simply Create Too - Embossing
Little Claires - Family Christmas
Thanks for looking!!

37 to go ....
Evening,
I've got just a tiny bit of panic setting in that I'm running out of time to make all my Christmas cards! I've made 22 and I've got 37 to go. Not sure how that works with only about 3 weeks until last posting day, and I started off so well...
Last night I night I made 3 cards the same but different. Not a great photo (for a change) they look much better in real life (or if you click on them and make the bigger) plus they all have plenty of sparkle on them.

So it's back to my dining room table to make a few more tonight!
I'd like to enter these cards into the following challenges:
Pollycraft Monday - Christmas Fun
Simply Create Too - It's all about Christmas
CardMad Fairy - Winter Wonderland
Thanks for looking!

Star Shaped Card ..
Hi,
Hope you're all having a fab weekend!
Here's my latest card - it was for my niece Molly on her 10th birthday. I found a tutorial here and though to myself "that looks easy!". Let's just say it took longer than I thought it would - which I'm sure is more down to my lack of brains than anything else. As always the picture is rubbish as I finished it late and it needed to go off in the post the next day!
Above is the card as you see it when it's opened out, (before I added the image), and below is the folded card. I think it looks pretty swish even if I do say so myself. I may make a few more of these for Christmas. The image is from Pollycraft.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Tuesday Throwdown - Think Pink
Crafty Creations - 3, 2, 1 (Three papers - the third is just just under the pink panel in the centre, 2 embellis - the ribbon and the little gems, and 1 image)
Lexis Creations - Pink for Boobies
Little Miss Muffet - Girly Girl
Di's Digital Designs - Girly Creations
The Stamping Boutique - Think Pink
Crafty Cardmakers - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Get in Shape - my three shapes are the star, triangle and the wonky rectangle which a quick search on the net tells me is an Isosceles Trapezoid (you learn something everyday!)
Anyway - thanks for looking!!

Father's Day
Morning!
Here's my father day card for my very lovely father-in-law. He is the original Mr Fix-it, hence the hammer. The little monkey digi stamp is from Pollycraft and I've done it in 3 layers, although the picture doesn't show it very well. The sentiment is one I made quickly on the computer last night.
I'm going to enter this card in the following challenge
- Cupcakecraft - Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy
- Papertake Weekly - Dads and Lads
- Tuesday Throwdown - 3 Past Challenges (Animal Image, Anything Goes & Sentimentally Yours - which I hope means the card has to have a sentiment on it!!)
- Saturday Challenge - A Male Card
- Creative Inspirations - Fathers Day
- Do It With Digis - Animal Magic
- Simply Create - All About You Dad
Thanks for looking!
