Kitty Bee Designs - Super Cute Lady Bird Baby.

Evening.

It's my turn to do a spotlight card for the the Kitty Bee Designs blog.  It's a fab idea - we get to pick one of Ruth's super cute images and do whatever we want!

So here's my first spotlight post - and I must admit I've been coveting this cute little ladybird image ever since Team Kitties used it for a challenge last year. I was asked to make a new baby card for one of our friends who's baby is due any day now and I knew exactly what image to use.

Have you seen it? It's just too cute to be allowed and just perfect for my card!

The lace and script papers are from Stampin UP! and I really can't remember where the hearts paper is from!

While we are talking about Kitty Bee, why not stop by the blog and join in our new current challenge? The theme is something new - a technique, a product or perhaps even try a new tutorial! Our sponsor is A Random Fan who are offering 3 digis to winner. So why not click here and join in the challenge too!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

My Sheri Crafts - Delightful Digis
Brown Sugar Challenges - Anything Goes
Simply Create Too - Valentines Day or Use Hearts
Sweet Stamps - Anything Goes
Paper Nest Dolls - Anything Goes
Flourishes - In with the New
Card Mania - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking!

Stampin' for the Weekend - Anything Goes

Hi,

Happy New Year and all that!!

This is my first post of the new year.  With both my DT's taking a break over Christmas I don't seem to have done any crafting at all.  Hopefully once I start making things I'll find my crafting mojo - I think it got put in a box with all my Christmas card stuff and stashed away.

I've also realised my little blog is 3 years old - so I'll sort out a little candy over the next week or so for my lovely followers.

Anyway.  It's time for the first challenge of the year at:

This first challenge is super hard and will require lots of thought from you all.... nah only kidding - it's anything goes!!

This time we are sponsors by one of our lovely regular sponsors:

So here's my card.  I made a while back for a friends 60th Birthday.

I think the paper is a magazine freebie and the image is from Tiddlyinks.  I also covered the bird cage in some distress crackle paint, but you can't really tell from this photo but it is!

I do hope that you'll be able to join us for this challenge!  Especially as I'm going to the Creative Stitches and Hobby Crafts event in Manchester in a couple of weeks so I need some lovely things to put on my shopping list!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Card Mania Challenges - Anything Goes
Creative Creations Challenges - Anything Goes
MAWTT - Girly Cards
My Heart Pieces - Anything Goes
Seize the Birthday - Colouring

Stampin' For the Weekend - Anything Goes

Hello!!

I'm pretty excited today - there are only 4 more sleeps until Christmas.  Oh and because I got some cute little wooden bird houses from the supermarket for £1.75, currently they are Christmas themed (and were half price!), but I'm going to alter them and cover them with pretty paper!

Anyway I'm here with my post for Stampin' For the Weekend.  This is our last challenge of 2013 and as everyone is super busy, we've made it an easy one:  ANYTHING GOES!!

We are sponsored for this challenge by Rick St Dennis however I've had printer problems and as I'm a last minute kind of girl I had to improvise and use an card I made a while ago, but hadn't had the chance to blog.

This card was for my lovely father-in-law for his 65th birthday!
The image is from Tiddlyinks and is called the carpenter.  The papers are from Stampin up!  It really should have had a happy birthday sentiment on it - but I made it about an hour before we were due to go out, and couldn't find the stamp I was looking for! Grrr.

Anyway I do hope you can join us for this challenge.  Don't forget to link up your creation and show us what you've been doing.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Charisma Cards - Anything Goes
Digi Galore Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafts 4 Eternity - Anything Goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking - hope you have a lovely Christmas

I'd like to tell you what brand the paper is but I haven't a clue!!  His hat is so lovely and sparkly - I've used loads and loads of glitter on it.

Stampin' For the Weekend - Use something red!

Afternoon!

I'm here with my design team post for Stampin' For the Weekend.  We are sponsored again by Saturated Canary.   Although I think next year I'm going to have to get over my fear of big hair!

Our theme this fortnight is USE SOME RED.   I'm sure you'll all be able to enter something into this challenge.

Here's my card - I used Christmas Angel.

This is actually and 8 x 8 card, I made it to give to someone who has been so helpful to our WI group this year so we needed something a bit showy! Although those spellbinder frames make the air turn blue when I use them as I never seem to get a clean cut!

As my photography is so rubbish the picture just doesn't show how lovely and sparkly her wings are. Plus I finally found a use for all the embossing the power I have squirrelled away but never use.  I even covered the the brad in the centre which I think is green under all that.

Anyway I do hope you can join in our challenge!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The ABC Challenge - A: Almost Christmas
Emerald Faeries - Christmas
Ladybug Crafty - Christmas / Winter
Natalie and Amy - Cute and Cuddly Christmas
Bearly Mine - Christmas Sentiment
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Winter Wonderland - Embossing
C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Christmas
Little Miss Muffet - You've Been Framed
