Washing Day...

Evening!

Have you all seen the new Harry Potter film yet?  I loved loved loved it. (Apart from a few major deviations from the book! I'm a bit of a stickler for those kinds of details!)

Here's another Christmas card from me.  I love making Christmas cards - I think I've said that already. How cute is this image, the snowman's done his washing.  It's another one of my winnings from The Stamping Boutique.

I've used some fun flock for snow at the bottom but I just kind of made it up what I needed to do.  Should it be in little balls (like mini sheep) or has something gone wrong? I'll have to do some digging to find out.

I'm going to enter this into the following challenges:

Really Reasonable Ribbon - Cool It
Simply Create - Christmas Time
Craft your Passion - Text on the Card
Mojo Monday - Sketch
Simon Stays Stamp and Show - Embossing

Wow - that's loads!

Thanks for looking - have a nice evening!

yep - it's another birthday card ...

Afternoon!

This is the last post from me this week as we are taking the children to see their grandparents this weekend - which means no cooking and cleaning for me all weekend along with free babysitters to look after the children while my husband and I go and see the final Harry Potter film!  How excited am I!!!!

This card was for one of the girls in our office, I've just been looking back and it looks quite like one I did a couple of weeks ago.  I just can't help it - I love these yellow papers!  I've got one with flocking on, that came as part of the pack, that I'm dying to use but haven't found the perfect project as it's so lush!

The roses were originally white but I coloured them with my promarkers.  It hasn't shown up very well but the yellow flowery paper is actually covered in glitter!  I love it so much, I'll probably cry when it's all gone - I've probably got half of a 12x12 sheet left!

I'm going to enter this into the following challenges:

Craft Your Passion - Just for You
Cupcake Craft - Your Favourite Cupcake - (No 1 -Flowers)
Freshly Brewed - Triple Play ( Three flowers)
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Sew Many Cards - Glitter (on the flowers and the yellow flowery paper - honest!)
Allsorts - Free and Easy
Southern Girls - Birthday Card
My Grafico - Anything Goes
The Stamping Boutique - Monthly Challenge

Anyway - have a nice weekend everyone!!

Thanks for looking.

Nice Day for a White Wedding

Morning!

Just a quick one for me before I take the children to the park and make the most of the nice weather before the rain the forecasters are promising rolls in!

I had a go the other night at making an all white card. Plus I got to play with my beautiful embossing folders!  Not to sure whether I like it though - it seems a bit .... hmmm ..... unfinished?  Perhaps it's because all the paper/card I've used is very very white instead of different shades of white (if you know what I mean!)

I don't think it shows up too well on this photo but I put glossy accents on the cake stand and stickles on the hearts at the top.

Anyway let me know what you think I think I need a bit of help with this one - what would you do differently?

I'm going to enter this into the following challenges:

Freshly Brewed - Triple Play
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Our Creative Corner - Use Only White
My Grafico - Anything Goes

And just before I go HELLO to my new follower Mary J!

Thanks for looking!

Wedding Bells

Evening All!

I made this card about a month ago for a wedding we went to.  I love weddings but I always end up crying as I'm such a big softy! This is another fine example of my rubbish photography, this time made worse by the fact I had only finished making it an hour before, was praying for the glitter glue to dry and rushing to take a picture before putting it in the envelope before heading off to the wedding!

The paper is really lovely, I picked it up randomly at a craft shop but you can't really see the pattern on it in the picture above but hopefully you can make out my lovely shimmery card.  This even worse picture below - does nothing for the card but shows up the pattern on the paper.

So if you use your imagination to put it all together hopefully you can see that it was actually a nice clean and simple card!

The digi image and the sentiment were both from Pink Petticoat.

I'm going to enter this into the following challenges!

Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Catch the Bug - Clean and Simple
Allsorts - Free and Easy
Bee Crafty - Wedding Wishes

Enjoy the rest of your evening, thanks for looking!

30th Birthday

Afternoon!

My husband is 30 tomorrow - so I've been working on his card this morning.  I've already given it to him though as I didn't got an envelope big enough, plus he was milling around whilst I was cursing and cutting out the little boy and his car - I need to either get some decoupage scissors or get a new blade for my craft knife!

He really liked it and said that it reminded him of playing outrun in the arcade machines when he was a teenager ( Which is a very long time ago now!! ha ha!)

The image is called AJ - the race car driver and it's one of the images I chose from The Stamping Boutique as part of my prize from Tuesday Throwdown a week or so ago.  The image looks really flat on this photo, but I've done it in three layers.  I'm also loving Core-dinations card at the minute.

I always forget how hard it is to get really nice DP for male cards - there are literally thousands for the girls, so I did a little happy dance when I spotted this at the craft store!  It's lovely and so summery!

There are loads of challenges to enter with this card:

Plus have you seen my new badge on the sidebar - my pink Christmas card made top three at the Winter Wonderland Blog! I was a very happy bunny when I caught up with my blogs last night!

Thanks for stopping by
