Tuesday Throwdown - Space Adventure

Morning!

This morning our new challenge launches at Tuesday Throwdown!

We have a fab theme for you all today - Space Adventure and this week we are sponsored by the fabulous My Grafico and they have been so kind and let us have some images to play with!

And here's my card.  My friend's little boy is two next month and I though these would make a fab card. But it was starting to look a little boring, but luckily I had a flash of inspiration and made a penny slider card.  So the little rocket slides up and down.  It's quite clever even if I do say so myself!

It was fairly easy and quick to make and there are tons of tutorials on the internet. I made the "hole" for the rocket to slide by using my Stampin' Up Word Window punch.  So why not stop on by our blog and see all the amazing creations of my teamies - hope you can join us too!

I'll be back later to add some challenges!

I'd to enter this card into the following challenges:

The ABC challenge - Just as you like!
One Crazy Stamper - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - Masculine
Creative Craft Challenges - For the Kids
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Love to Create Challenge - Anything Goes
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
There She Goes - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes
One Stop Craft Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking!

Stampin' for the Weekend - Child's Play

Morning!

It's almost the weekend and time for another challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend!

Our challenge this fortnight is sponsored by the fabulous Live and Love Crafts!

We have a great challenge for you all - this fortnight the challenge is Child's play - we want to see creations made for a child or that include an image of a child, and here's my card:

My lovely husband bought me the tattered florals die for my birthday.  I love it - I now have a huge pile of fabric flowers sat in my craft drawers that I cut out of old clothes - just because I could.  The papers are First Edition - Sweet Owl, the bunting is from memory box, and the label punches and cloud embossing are all from Stampin' Up. I've forgotten the name of this cute little girl stamp but it's from Lili of the Valley.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

CLP Challenges - Sketch
Bunny Zoe - Girly
Fashionista Challenge - Pink
Pretty Little Ribbon Shop - Happy Birthday
Stamp and Create - Fur or Feathers
Aud Sentiments - Girl Power
Fab N Funky - Add a sentiment
Tuesday Alchemy - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking - hope you have a fab weekend - don't forget to pop over to our challenge blog and join in our Child's Play challenge!

Mother's Day

Hello!

Happy Mother's day to you all!

I wanted to share with you the mothers day card I made for my lovely mother-in-law. The cute image is from Meljens and was a freebie from ages ago!

The papers are from a First Edition stack called Spring Drop, the bunting die is from memory box one and the butterflies are from a Stampin' Up! embosslits die called beautiful wings.  (It actually cuts and embosses 5 butterflies in one go but I lost one somewhere one of them flew away! I've also used some of my beautiful glittery lace - I love it.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

CMC Copic Challenge Group - Anything Goes + butterflies
Fab N Funky - Cute and Cuddly
The Paper Shelter - Punches and Dies

Tuesday Throwdown - Lace and Doilies

Morning!!

It's Tuesday and time for another challenge at Tuesday Throwdown.  This week our theme is lace and doilies.

As always we have a fab sponsor and this week it's Robyn's Fetish who have very kindly given us some lovely images to work with, plus if the random-number-picker-thingy picks you will win some images too!

Here's my card using the image "Two for Tea":

I've treated myself to a new paper pack - this one is Spring Drop by First Edition - it's really pretty.
My sentiment is punched with the Stampin Up Word Window Punch. I think I may wear this punch out before long - but it's just so handy to use for a quick sentiment.  I bought a set of mini sentiments which were designed to fit this punch - but when I have a spare hour or two(!!) one day I might have a go at doing my own!

Anyway as I'm scheduling this post at 2 o'clock in the morning I really should go to bed. (The main reason I'm up so late is I decided to have a  little snooze on the sofa this evening - just for 5 minutes! and then woke up at 11pm with loads to do still.

I'll be back to add some challenges on later on in the evening.
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

ABC Challenges - Anything Goes
Created With Love Challenges - Anything Goes
Make it Monday - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime - Anything Goes
Whoopsi Daisy - Two Patterned Papers
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Passion for Pro Markers - One for the Ladies
Pretty Little Ribbon - Happy Birthday
My Grafico - Anything Goes
Bizzy Becs - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking, why not stop by the Tuesday Throwdown blog and check what beautiful cards the other girls on our team have made.

Have a great day!

Running Late .... Oops

Hello,

I have no idea what I've done with my time over the last two weeks - but I'm running late for the latest challenge at Stampin' For The Weekend! - Sorry Girls!

This fortnight we are sponsored by Rick St Dennis and our challenge is to Use Lace:

Here's my card, we were fortunate to choose some Images from Rick St Dennis' etsy shop - I chose Snow Buddies and I've made my first Christmas card of 2013. Although I'm not really sure I've done the image justice, however my teamies have made some amazing cards - so why not stop by our challenge blog and see what the others have done!

I've used a memory box die to cut the glitter card.  I bought this die, planning to use it on lots of cards - but forgot all about it! Ooops.  The lace at the top of the card is just beautiful - it's all sparkly. I also love my new embossing folder - although it doesn't show up to well on this picture. It's lots of dotty clouds - it's from Stampin Up and is called cloudy day. I love it.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Sweet Stamping - It's all embossing
Christmas Card Challenges - Anything Goes
Hobby Cutz - Anything Goes
That Craft Place - Anything Goes
Bugaboo - Anything Goes
My Time to Craft - Embossing
Craft Us Crazy - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me Challenges - Dies or Punches
Christmas at Sweet Stamping - Snowflakes
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking!
