Purple Christmas

Hello!

I remember last Christmas when I made all of my Christmas cards I felt quite sad at not needing to make anymore.  The pink Christmas card I made last week has got me feeling all Christmassy again so I've made another one!

It's very simple card but I really love the colours!

I'm going to enter this into the following challenges:

Tuesday Throwdown - Christmas in July
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes (and Buttons)
Our Creative Corner - Christmas in July
Winter Wonderland - Buffet - Snowflakes, Ribbon, Buttons

Thanks for looking!

30th Birthday

Afternoon!

My husband is 30 tomorrow - so I've been working on his card this morning.  I've already given it to him though as I didn't got an envelope big enough, plus he was milling around whilst I was cursing and cutting out the little boy and his car - I need to either get some decoupage scissors or get a new blade for my craft knife!

He really liked it and said that it reminded him of playing outrun in the arcade machines when he was a teenager ( Which is a very long time ago now!! ha ha!)

The image is called AJ - the race car driver and it's one of the images I chose from The Stamping Boutique as part of my prize from Tuesday Throwdown a week or so ago.  The image looks really flat on this photo, but I've done it in three layers.  I'm also loving Core-dinations card at the minute.

I always forget how hard it is to get really nice DP for male cards - there are literally thousands for the girls, so I did a little happy dance when I spotted this at the craft store!  It's lovely and so summery!

There are loads of challenges to enter with this card:

• Pollycraft Monday - Celebrations
• Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
• Stamp Something - July Digi Day
• Catch the Bug - Anything Goes
• Secret Crafter - Here Comes Summer
• Allsorts Challenge - Free and Easy
• Whoopsi Daisy - Hot Hot Hot
• Southern Girls Challenge - Bring Out Your Inner Child (my husbands not mine!)
• Sundays with Chrissy - Distressing

Plus have you seen my new badge on the sidebar - my pink Christmas card made top three at the Winter Wonderland Blog! I was a very happy bunny when I caught up with my blogs last night!

Less than six months .....

....  until Christmas!!!!  I love Christmas, I can't wait to put my Christmas decorations up.  But as I'm not allowed to put them up until December I've settled for making a Christmas Card:

One down - about another 50 to go!
The image is from Heather Ellis and the DP was a magazine freebie!

I'm going to enter this into the following challenges:

• Ladybug Challenge - Christmas in June
• Winter Wonderland - Pretty in Pink
• Woopsi Daisy - Christmas

Oriental

Morning!

Here's something I made last night - I was sorting through all my lovely papers (I sometimes seem to spend a whole evening looking at my papers and bits rather than making cards).  I found some oriental papers and chipboards which I got free in a magazine ages and decided to use them up.

I also found some black/red core-dinations card which I bought a couple of months ago when a crafts website had a fab sale. My rubbish photography, however, doesn't show up the red distressed edges well - it looks much better in real life.

I'm going to add this card into the following challenge:

• Sketch N Stash - Challenge 64.

HI! to my new  followers Lulia and Bobley Boo!

Thanks for looking!

Pink!

Here's yet another birthday card from me. Everyone seems to be having their birthday all at once.  I've still got another two to go in the next two weeks! This time, though, it's for my mother-in-law - she is so lovely - not the like the dreaded mother-in-law everyone else seems to have!

However it's probably not the most grown-up card for a lady of a certain age.

I'm going to enter this card in the following challenges:

• Everybody Art Challenge - Anything Goes
• CPS - Sketch
• Do it with Digis - Monochrome (ok so there is a tiny, tiny bit of blue and green among all that pink!  oops!)
• My Grafico - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!
