Tuesday Throwdown - Lace and Doilies

Morning!!

It's Tuesday and time for another challenge at Tuesday Throwdown.  This week our theme is lace and doilies.

As always we have a fab sponsor and this week it's Robyn's Fetish who have very kindly given us some lovely images to work with, plus if the random-number-picker-thingy picks you will win some images too!

Here's my card using the image "Two for Tea":

I've treated myself to a new paper pack - this one is Spring Drop by First Edition - it's really pretty.
My sentiment is punched with the Stampin Up Word Window Punch. I think I may wear this punch out before long - but it's just so handy to use for a quick sentiment.  I bought a set of mini sentiments which were designed to fit this punch - but when I have a spare hour or two(!!) one day I might have a go at doing my own!

Anyway as I'm scheduling this post at 2 o'clock in the morning I really should go to bed. (The main reason I'm up so late is I decided to have a  little snooze on the sofa this evening - just for 5 minutes! and then woke up at 11pm with loads to do still.

I'll be back to add some challenges on later on in the evening.
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

ABC Challenges - Anything Goes
Created With Love Challenges - Anything Goes
Make it Monday - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime - Anything Goes
Whoopsi Daisy - Two Patterned Papers
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Passion for Pro Markers - One for the Ladies
Pretty Little Ribbon - Happy Birthday
My Grafico - Anything Goes
Bizzy Becs - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking, why not stop by the Tuesday Throwdown blog and check what beautiful cards the other girls on our team have made.

Have a great day!

Running Late .... Oops

Hello,

I have no idea what I've done with my time over the last two weeks - but I'm running late for the latest challenge at Stampin' For The Weekend! - Sorry Girls!

This fortnight we are sponsored by Rick St Dennis and our challenge is to Use Lace:

Here's my card, we were fortunate to choose some Images from Rick St Dennis' etsy shop - I chose Snow Buddies and I've made my first Christmas card of 2013. Although I'm not really sure I've done the image justice, however my teamies have made some amazing cards - so why not stop by our challenge blog and see what the others have done!

I've used a memory box die to cut the glitter card.  I bought this die, planning to use it on lots of cards - but forgot all about it! Ooops.  The lace at the top of the card is just beautiful - it's all sparkly. I also love my new embossing folder - although it doesn't show up to well on this picture. It's lots of dotty clouds - it's from Stampin Up and is called cloudy day. I love it.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Sweet Stamping - It's all embossing
Christmas Card Challenges - Anything Goes
Hobby Cutz - Anything Goes
That Craft Place - Anything Goes
Bugaboo - Anything Goes
My Time to Craft - Embossing
Craft Us Crazy - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me Challenges - Dies or Punches

Tuesday Throwdown - Monochrome!

Morning!

Hope you've all got a good day planned - my children have gone to their grandparents for a few days so we are taking advantage of our freedom and are off out for dinner and drinks tonight!! Yippeee!

But before all that we have a new launching at Tuesday Throwdown this week.

We had a huge amount of entries last week so thanks to everyone that played along.  This weeks our theme is Monchrome and we have a super sponsor who have very kindly given us some beautiful images to use.

Here's my card, actually this is my second card - my first one was purple and it didn't work out too well! as I cut my last piece of purple card to small and didn't have anymore left!  This image is called cone flowers and butterfly.

How do you like my butterflies - they are from the poundshop!  I bought 3 packs of them each with about 15 different sizes. They've got some glitter on them which is lovely and subtle and I've used my star dust pen to the butterfly and flowers on the image.  When it catches the light it looks fab!

I also love my new punches, I've been using them a lot recently.  They are from Stampin' Up there is a word window punch which is the long oval-ish one and then a modern label punch - they work so nicely together and so handy.

Anyway I do hope you join us this week in our challenge!!  Go on - you know you want to!

I'll be back later to add in some challenges!
Edited to add the following challenges@

Bunny Zoe - Flowers and Pearls
Crafty Cardmakers - Blooming Images

Make It Monday - Anything Goes
My Grafico - Anything Goes
Pretty Little Ribbon - Anything Goes

I quite like this - although I must confess I may have been just a little tipsy when I made it on Saturday night as I was out during the day drinking cocktails!  I've also only used the smallest piece of string ever to attach my charms to my card.  The papers are from My Minds Eye and the news print paper has been lurking in my stash for a while!

So why not stop by and join in with us a Tuesday Throwndown - my teamies have made some lovely creations!  And I can't wait to see what you have all been creating!
