Angel Christmas

Evening all:

Well I managed to make my card while the children were napping, and I'm now hiding in the kitchen making Sunday dinner posting this card:

I even managed to cut some pink snowflakes out felt and dusted off the Stickles for some sparkly wings!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Craft Your Passion - Let it Snow
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Women Only
Winter Wonderland - What a Cutie
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Nutcrafters - Christmas Card for a Child (Thanks for the freebie!)
The Stamping Boutique - Winter Holiday
Sundays With Crissy - Non Traditional Holiday Colours

Thanks for looking!

Baby boy

Crikey - it's been a whole month since I last posted a card.

I've been busy at work, getting outrageously drunk in London to help my beautiful friend celebrate her 30th birthday, as well all the other boring life stuff that gets in the way of doing more interesting things!

I'm massively behind on my Christmas cards so it's going to be a quick post from me today as the children are napping and my challenge is to start (and finish!) a card over the next hour to get me back on track.

Here's a card I made yesterday - a girl who runs one of the toddler groups we go to is due to start maternity leave next week so I've made her a card to say congratulations / good luck as we probably won't see her again until July!

I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges:

DYSU - A splash of blue
One Stop Craft Challenge - Colour Challenge: Blue
Freshly Brewed - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking!  I can't wait to catch up on all your beautiful blogs soon!

Star Shaped Card ..

Hi,

Hope you're all having a fab weekend!

Here's my latest card - it was for my niece Molly on her 10th birthday.  I found a tutorial here and though to myself "that looks easy!". Let's just say it took longer than I thought it would - which I'm sure is more down to my lack of brains than anything else.  As always the picture is rubbish as I finished it late and it needed to go off in the post the next day!

Above is the card as you see it when it's opened out, (before I added the image), and below is the folded card.  I think it looks pretty swish even if I do say so myself.  I may make a few more of these for Christmas. The image is from Pollycraft.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Tuesday Throwdown - Think Pink
Crafty Creations - 3, 2, 1 (Three papers - the third is just just under the pink panel in the centre, 2 embellis - the ribbon and the little gems, and 1 image)
Lexis Creations - Pink for Boobies
Little Miss Muffet - Girly Girl
Di's Digital Designs - Girly Creations
The Stamping Boutique - Think Pink
Crafty Cardmakers - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Get in Shape - my three shapes are the star, triangle and the wonky rectangle which a quick search on the net tells me is aIsosceles Trapezoid (you learn something everyday!)

Anyway - thanks for looking!!

Halloween

Hi,

Happy Sunday!  Today I've got a Halloween card to share with you all.  I bought loads of black colour core card ages ago (in about a thousand different colours!) but I've not really done anything with it yet!

After some serious sand paper action this black / green card looks great!  Plus I took a trip to one of my local craft shops yesterday for some things for a birthday card and just after I had handed over my life savings to pay for my "one or two" bits I spotted this amazing black spiders web/holey tights/ripped ribbon on a shelf and I just had to get some.

The cute Frankenstein guy is a freebie from The Stamping Boutique - how cute is he?

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes & Ribbon
Tuesday Throwdown - Halloween
One Stop Craft Challenge - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime - Use Black, Orange and Purple
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Halloween
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Spooky

Thanks for looking!
